GPS Location
See where a managed device is on a live map with address, coordinates and GPS status.
The parent app includes a dedicated Location panel with Google Maps integration. View the child device’s latest GPS position, geocoded address, and open the location in Google Maps. GPS on/off status is shown in the parent toolbar.
Location data syncs in real time through Firebase — the same flow used in the Android parent dashboard.

Calls
Review incoming, outgoing and missed calls with duration, contact names and optional call audio.
The Calls tab in the parent app lists every call event from the child phone — contact name, number, type, duration and timestamp. Parents can search the list, play call recordings, download audio files, and clear history.

SMS
Read SMS sent and received on the managed Android device from the parent Messages panel.
The SMS panel captures both received and sent text messages on the child device. Messages appear in real time in the parent app with contact, direction, body text and time. Search, delete and clear the full message list when needed.

Keylogger
Accessibility-based keylog panel showing typed text, focus and tap events from the child device.
The KeyLog section uses an accessibility service on the child device to log typed characters, focused fields and UI clicks. The parent app displays a searchable, real-time stream and shows whether the monitoring service is active.

Remote photos
Trigger silent front or rear camera photos remotely and browse the photo gallery from the parent app.
The Get photo panel lets parents request a front or rear camera snapshot from the child device. Photos upload to cloud storage and appear in a searchable gallery where you can view full size, download or delete images.

Environment recording
Start timed ambient audio recordings from the child device and play them back in the parent app.
The Recordings panel sends a remote command to record surrounding audio for a chosen duration. A live timer shows progress while recording. Finished clips appear in a list for playback, search and download.

Gallery sync
Remotely pull recent photos from the child phone’s gallery into the parent panel.
The Gallery tab triggers a sync command that uploads the most recent photos from the child device’s gallery to cloud storage. Parents browse synced images, search the list and clear history when needed.

Video recording
Record video remotely from the child device camera for a set duration.
The Video recorder panel sends a timed video capture command to the child phone. Recorded videos upload automatically and can be played back from the parent app.

Screen recording
Record the child device screen remotely and review recordings in the parent app.
The Screen recorder panel triggers a MediaProjection-based screen capture on the child device. Finished screen recordings sync to the parent app for playback and management.

Parent app & security
Secure the parent dashboard and manage multiple child devices from one account.
The parent app includes a Settings panel with PIN lock, auto-close after inactivity, and quick exit when Home is pressed. Switch between multiple linked child accounts, upload a child profile photo, and remotely hide or show the app icon on the child device.

Setup & cloud sync

FamilyCall Guard ships as Parent APK and Child APK built from the same Android project. The child side runs a permission checklist (accessibility, overlay, notifications, usage stats, battery whitelist) then syncs all data through Firebase Realtime Database and Cloud Storage — matching the Home-demo app architecture.

Social notifications
Intercept notification content from major social and messaging apps on the child device.
The Notifications panel captures notification title, text and images from WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram on the child phone. Messages appear in the parent app with app-type icons, search and delete support.
